Each correct answer gives your team a point, and you can earn up to 50 points if you play flawless play.
However, the fun doesn't stop there. The NYC Trivia League adds an added layer of fun with the bonus points system. Every day, the top 25 teams receive more points, with the top 10 teams earning five bonus points, and the following 15 getting 3. Throughout the week, the top teams receive bonus points which are awarded to the top 25 teams, with the best 25 getting 10 and the bottom 25 receiving 5.
To calculate your league score, we use your base score and adjust it to a 100-point scale considering the bonus points of 15 offered each week. So, for example, a initial score of 50% points is multiplied with 85, and then the bonus points are added to potentially increase the score to 100.
